Mount Rogers Health District Encourages Residents to Update Pre-registration, Reach out Regarding Vaccine Appointments
(Marion, Va.) – Mount Rogers Health District is asking all residents, even those who have already been vaccinated, to update their pre-registration information on vaccinate.virginia.gov, and asking some residents to reach out about appointments.
Health department staff have been scheduling appointments via phone and email using the waitlist. Unfortunately, some phone numbers or email addresses are not correct, and staff have been unable to reach these individuals for appointments. Anyone who registered before March 1st, is in Phase 1a/1b, and has not been contacted for an appointment is asked to email covidvaccinemrhd@vdh.virginia.gov or call your local health department.
All residents, even if they have been vaccinated, need to update their pre-registration information by going to vaccinate.virginia.gov. This allows us to ensure people can be contacted when it is their turn for vaccination. For those who have already been vaccinated, updating information allows for the database to be updated and opens up the waitlist for others. This will prevent vaccinated individuals from getting continued emails and texts from the pre-registration site.
To pre-register or update registration, please visit vaccinate.virginia.gov/ or call 1-877-VAX-IN-VA (1-877-829-4682) for assistance with registration.
