INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN OFFICER OF ELECTION FOR GRAYSON COUNTY?
If you requested a ballot by mail, you may track your ballot’s progress here.
Please be advised, Ballot Tracking relies on the USPS scanning the ballot envelope at each state of the
delivery and return process. If the USPS fails to scan the ballot envelope at any point, gaps in ballot tracking will occur.
You must be a US citizen, a resident of Virginia, and be 18 years of age by the next General Election. You must have had your rights restored if you have ever been convicted of a felony or judged mentally incapacitated in a Circuit Court.
If you damage, incorrectly mark, lose your original ballot, or if you never received the mailed ballot, call the Grayson County Voter Registration Office immediately at 276-773-2842, and we will explain what you need to do to get a replacement ballot.
General Elections are held on the first Tuesday following the first Monday every
November. Local government elections for Town Council are held on this same first Tuesday following the first Monday of even-numbered years beginning in November 2022. Special Elections and primary Elections will be announced as they are
called.
Virginia law requires all voters to provide an acceptable form of ID when voting
in person. Voters arriving at the polls without an acceptable form ID will be required to either sign an ID Confirmation Statement or vote a Provisional Ballot.
