The G.A.T.E. Center is a conference center for rental and the perfect place for your next meeting, conference, or workshop. It exists to support Grayson County residents grow through lifelong learning, food business establishment and support, and agricultural/forestry economic development.

The conference room has 19 tables with chairs, public bathrooms, multiple plugins as well as a refrigerator and counter space to accommodate your potluck, carry-out, or caterer event.

Within this 1940 era, the renovated building is a state-of-the-art conference room complete with Smartboard and WIFI enabled. Zoom your meeting or take a class in ServSafe from Virginia Tech. Host a potluck utilizing our conference room kitchenette

Outdoor events are easy on our patio, with three tables/chairs and umbrellas, as well as the deck, with two picnic tables, can also accommodate an outdoor event with the cater (ServSafe Certified) in the commercial kitchen. You can bring your own food items that have been prepared at home or purchased and set them up in the conference room.

NOTE: Any items purchased or prepared outside of the facility cannot be placed in our commercial kitchen due to the Health Department guidelines. However, we have conveniently given you an option in our conference room to accommodate your outside preparations
